3 Steps To Get Your Ex-Girlfriend Back!

You’re here because you’ve probably experienced a breakup and now you’re wondering “how do I get my ex-girlfriend back?”  You might have a common feeling which is, you want to get your ex back… now.

It’s possible to find yourself falling into an emotionally depressed state and wondering what to do next.  You might have the urge to give her a call and beg her to take you back.  But that won’t make things better.  In fact, it’ll probably make things much worse and chase her away even more.

It may seem counter-intuitive but what you should do is the opposite of what you feel. If you want to call your ex-girlfriend at this stage.  Don’t!  Maybe you even feel like staying home and sulking in your depression.  Don’t!  Instead take a look at these 3 basic steps that could help you find the answer you need to the question you’re asking yourself: “what should I do to get my girlfriend back?”

Step 1 – You’ve broken up, accept it!

broken up

First, you have to accept that the break up is happening whether you want it to or not at this point.  Tell your ex-girlfriend that you’re cool with it and allow the process of moving on to start.  This will not only reduce the amount of stress that you and your ex-girlfriend are experiencing but this will show you more confident in front of your ex-girlfriend.  Your ex-girlfriend will need some time to think about things.  This will give you time to consider your options and what to do next.  If your ex-girlfriend realizes she is still in love with you, then she’ll make a patch back.

Step 2 – Don’t call or contact her!

stop calling your girlfriend

Stop calling, texting, writing, emailing your ex-girlfriend right now.  Cut off the communication line and give her some time to think about the situation.  I know this sound like the opposite of what you want to do, but by doing this, you’ll be telling her that you’ve already moved on, and you’re doing great.

It will force her to re-evaluate your relationship and her feelings for you.  It’ll also give her some time to “miss” you.  When things calm down and the pressure has gone away, it’ll allow her to realize how important you were.

Step 3 – Plan your reunion ahead of time!

After you’ve completed steps 1 and 2, you can begin planning the meet up.  Think about where you want to have it, what you’ll wear, and most importantly what you’ll say. If she has good girlfriend qualities in her she would like to meet you more than you like.  Definitely, it won’t go exactly how you plan it, but at least you’ll have an idea where to start, and in the end, you’ll find out if she still loves you and if there’s a remote chance of the two of you getting back together.

There are loads of resources on the web, in bookstores, and on forums that you could probably get all your questions answered.  But the biggest thing that can help you right now is common sense.  It can really make a huge difference when you’ve broken up with someone.  The bottom line is, just being nice can go a long way toward making your relationship work again. It can be harder than just the above mentioned 3 steps, but it’s a good start for you to get your ex girlfriend back.
